History: Robert Faith Trucking is housed in the former Five Corner Cheese Co-op. Back in 1964, Robert (Bob) purchased the cheese factory and converted it into a truck terminal to house his bulk milk trucks. He started his 49th year of trucking bulk milk in 2009. This location is also home to Bob and Nancy Faith - and their two children were raised there. Jim and his wife Terry and their children family live in Monroe. Cathy and her husband John and boys live directly across the road in the brick house.

Comments:

The Faith’s chose the quilt pattern, “Farmer’s Daughter”, for nostalgic reasons. In 1956, as a freshman at Monticello High School, Bob started working for Nancy’s parents, on the Chesebro Farm, north of Monroe. Over time he and Nancy became childhood sweethearts, fell in love, and in 1965 Bob proposed to Nancy…and indeed…..he did marry the farmer’s daughter!!!!

Quilting has been a family tradition for Nancy’s family for generations. Nancy and her sister Jan and their families also have a barn quilt on display at their family farm, in honor of their mom. (see Olson – quilt #14)
