2023 USCA North Central Regional IGP Championship. This is a dog sport that tests a dog’s tracking, obedience and protection skills – for working dogs. Affiliated with United Schutzhund Clubs of America. Presented at the Green County Fairgrounds by the O.G. Eiszeit Schutzhund Club. Info: [email protected] See the dogs in action – Friday practice 7 am – 2 pm, Friday BH dog obedience and temperament test starts 2:30 pm, Saturday BH obedience and protection approximately 10 am – 11 am, Sunday BH obedience and protection approximately 10 am – 11 am. Food available: Full Moon Coffee Brew Bar onsite Friday, and JD’s Smokehouse Friday and Saturday from 11 am – 2 pm. No admission.
“BH” stands for Begleithundprufung in German, translating to “traffic-sure companion dog test” . It is also known as a Companion dog title and includes things like on and off leash heeling, recalls, basic commands, and some real life situations in a public traffic evaluation and environment.
