This interest intensified after I discovered medallion quilts. For over twenty years I’ve incorporated orphaned blocks into NOW Quilts (Nod to Other Women) which has invigorated my work by challenging me to honor patterns\, colors\, and fabrics anonymous women chose. Please no carry-ins on beer\, this is how we pay for the event. \nParking in Community Park will be limited. The first parking lot will be available\, but we imagine it will fill up fast. We suggest parking downtown and taking the walking bridge across the river over to the park. You can park around Library Park and walk over. The walking bridge is located on Vine Street one block north of Main Street. \nThere will be an area where you can drop off people at Community Park and then go find parking. Only cars with handicap parking stickers or event staff will be able to park beyond the barricades. \nCommunity Park is located off of River Street (Hwy 69) and Bross Circle.

DESCRIPTION:Artist Statement:  My interest in textiles\, primarily embroidery and rug-making\, began in girlhood and culminated when I became a quilter more than forty-five years ago. This interest intensified after I discovered medallion quilts. For over twenty years I’ve incorporated orphaned blocks into NOW Quilts (Nod to Other Women) which has invigorated my work by challenging me to honor patterns\, colors\, and fabrics anonymous women chose. I quilt by hand and my frame is a prominent feature in my home.
