Freedom 5K

Celebrate your independence as you run/walk this Freedom 5K!! Located near Monroe’s 4th of July festivities, participants will take a lap through Twining Park as they celebrate the holiday. The race is family-friendly. The course is the same as “Shake Your Shamrocks” but in reverse! All race participants and fans will have access to the YMCA locker rooms, immediately before and after the race. The YMCA will close at 10:00 a.m. following the race.
Teach your little ones the joy of running by having them participate in the free 1/4 mile kids race. Race swag is not included in the free kids race, however they will receive a medal for participating. Please sign them up to help us ensure we have enough medals. The free kids race starts at 7:00 a.m.

Non-Members: 5K run/walk: $40.00
