History: The property has been owned by the Alger family since 1999. The barn was last used for dairy cows 60 years ago, around the 1950’s. The Algers recently straightened the barn, replaced the roof, straightened the cupola. The barn was also painted and the windows were replaced.

Comments:

The Algers chose the Rising Star pattern because they wanted a geometric design.
