New Glarus highlights their hospitality and Swiss heritage with a variety of fun festivals throughout the seasons. Wilhelm Tell weekend has been a Labor Day tradition since 1938, and Polka Fest is a favorite in June. New in 2014: Cabin Fever in February.
Green County Cheese Days is held in downtown Monroe on the third weekend of September in even-numbered years. Also in Monroe - Green County Fair, Fall National Tractor Pull, and many more.
