Albany House Bed & Breakfast hosts summer workshops for artists. Led by Deborah Meyer, multi-media artist and workshop instructor, this is her seventh year as the guest artist. She has taught fine art painting techniques for 15 years with an emphasis on stimulating your creativity through the exploration of new mediums. Artists with all levels of experience are welcome. Workshops at our Albany Guest House start on Tuesday at 1:00 PM and end on Thursdays at 12:00 PM. Workshop size is limited to make sure you receive the attention you deserve. Two Chatelaines' farm is a homestead property in the hills of New Glarus, dating back to over 100 years ago. The crop land continues in active production of corn. The Farmhouse has been refurbished and designed to meet the needs of the quilter/crafter looking for a place to spend time with friends to create. Sleeps 7 in upstairs twin beds, queen sleeper sofa available on 1st floor. Full bath both levels. All linens provided. Workroom includes 8 work stations with individual Ott lights, overhead "natural" lighting and ergonomic chairs. 2 cutting stations with cutting mats, design wall, 2 ironing boards and irons. Full kitchen, living room with Dish TV, DVD player, surround sound CD player.
