This exhibition is the result of a call for artists to enter artwork in the Lower Sugar River Watershed Association's (LSRWA) second annual juried exhibition, "Seasons of the Sugar River-Catching the Light: Cultural Edges & Transitional Spaces." The call for artists to enter this juried show were invited to explore and to create works inspired by the changing forms of the natural world at the scale of organisms and landscapes. In addition, invited artists could explore and create works inspired by the biological, zoological, seasonal, and cultural transformations evidenced in the watershed. This exhibit will encompass the entire Sugar River Watershed from its headwaters in western Dane County to its confluence with the Pecatonica River in Northern Illinois.
