Point Five Band
- Union Prebyterian Church, 2707 - 5th St.
- 7 pm
Based in Mineral Point, Point Five plays genuine acoustic music with an emphasis on Americana, folk, old-time, bluegrass and alternative country. The vocals are accompanied by guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, dobro and double bass. The band's 2014 release, Pecatonica, takes listeners to scenes of the Southwestern Wisconsin landscape and explores the ideas of place and home. The concert is planned for the lawn, which is perfect for folding chairs and blankets. Limited seating on folding chairs will be available on the paved driveway. There is no admission charge. Free will donations are welcomed. In the event of bad weather the concert will be moved into the sanctuary.
