Bike Rodeo

A rodeo is a bicycle skills event which provides an opportunity for young bicyclists to practice and develop skills that will help them to become better bicyclists and avoid typical crashes.

New Glarus Police Department and New Glarus Chamber host the event.  Along with teaching bike safety...they give away 50 bike helmets and goodie basg filled with coupons, coloring books, stickers and etc. Everyone who attends including parents and siblings enjoy a free lunch. Also a bouncy house and petting zoo! The biggest attraction for the event every year is the drawing for a chance to win one of the bikes given away. The bikes are generously donated by local businesses. Children K-4th grade can sign up to win.
