Live Music at Turner Hall

Zweifel Brothers. Most Sunday afternoons from 1 - 5 pm, enjoy dancing with live music performed by some of the most popular old-time bands in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. Admission to the Sunday afternoon dances is $12 per person unless noted otherwise. Freshly-made popcorn and beverages are available at an additional cost. Over 30 guns to be given away! $65 ticket includes meal catered by Knutes of Ordfordville, door prizes, gun raffle, and Ducks Unlimited Membership. Info: 608.938.4740. FYI - you do not need to be a duck hunter to join or attend! In fact, the mission of the organization is "conservation for generations" - with a focus on water quality, habitat, etc.

Bees, Birds & Backyards

13th annual garden inspirations for all seasons! Registration begins at 8 am. Variety of workshops and information participants: Bumble Bee Conservation, Our Birchwood Home, Birds in Natural Landscaping, From the Ground Up - Soils, Plants for Flowering Backyard Shrub Borders, Adaptive Tools and Hints on Proper Body Mechanics. Early registration before March 1 is $35, after that $40. Includes lunch, refreshments, and resource materials. Presented by Extension Green County and Green County Master Gardeners.
