Route 66

SOLD OUT! It's a rip-roaring, pedal-to-the-medal road trip down memory lane featuring hits such as Dead Man's Curve, King of the Road, Little Old Lady From Pasadena, and, of course, Route 66. Four snappy, young pump jockeys take the audience to various stops along the historic road where a menagerie of characters sing and dance to timeless tunes. From the jazzy pop of Chicago, the two-stepping hoedown of Texas and the beach-bumming car jams of California, this show has it all. It's a road trip of a lifetime with solid harmonies, dazzling quick-changes, flashy dance numbers, on-stage band, and hilarious comedy. "Get your kicks on Route 66."

The Choirs will premiere a musical score composed by Scott Gendel, to accompany the reading of Paul Gallico's The Snow Goose by professional actor Richard Hilger. Hilger and the choirs will be joined by a chamber music group. The success of this reading three years ago led to the commission of the musical score. The Choirs have an international reputation and performs annually with the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Their mission is to inspire enjoyment, enhance education, nurture personal, musical, and social development by the study and performance of high-quality and diverse choral literature.
