Daddy-Daughter Dance

Loren and Mark

Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb share a unique musical chemistry and stage presence seldom found between musicians. Influenced by Americana, Jazz, Popular, and Classical music, their diverse repertoire consists of stunning guitar instrumentals as well as vocal duets. Their live performances feature their spectacular style of guitar playing, styled after the thumb-picking techniques pioneered by guitar greats Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and Jerry Reed. It's guitar playing like you've never heard before!

Love Letters - Performance and Fundraiser

Love Letters is a two-person play told in correspondence over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner are two people from similar backgrounds who take very different paths in life. Both born to wealth and position, Andrew and Melissa are childhood friends whose lifelong communication of letters begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards. They continued to send letters during boarding school, college, and beyond. Despite leading entirely separate lives, they can't let go of each other and maintain a 50-year correspondence. The letters reveal how much they really mean to each other and much they give and receive--physically apart, but spiritually as close as only true lovers can be.
