Sponsored by the Brodhead Jaycees. Over 90 vendor booths (three full gyms!) of artists, crafters, and home-show consultants at the Brodhead Elementary and Middle a food stand! Its a great place for your holiday shopping, especially for finding that one-of-kind, handmade gift. There's truly something for everyone at this great event!

William Florian "Those Were the Days"

William Florian's "Those were the Days" is an upbeat, musical journey of America's spirit and greatest songs of the 1960's and 70's. As the former lead singer of the iconic band The New Christy Minstrels, Florian mesmerizes audiences as he intertwines amusing and heart-warming stories with the music of Peter, Paul, and Mary; John Denver, The Mamas and The Papas, Pete Seeger and others. Memorable songs such as If I Had a Hammer, California Dreamin', Green, Green, Leaving On a Jet Plane, and Today, along with uplifting originals, will transport you back to a time of hope, love, and peace.

David Newman - Pianist

Pianist David Newman is listed in Who's Who Among American Keyboard Artists. Since 2009, he has taught piano, class piano, and piano ensemble at Beloit College. He is also an active soloist and chamber musician throughout the state, and recently appeared with the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra performing Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Beloit College Orchestra. He is a founding member of Zephyr, a chamber group dedicated to performing works written for piano and winds.

Switchback: Midwestern Christmas

Brian FitzGerald and Marty McCormack of the Irish-Americana duo Switchback return to the Monroe Arts Center, but this time with their exciting holiday performance "A Midwestern Christmas." Switchback's holiday concerts are always a crowd pleaser with lots of audience involvement and singing along with the band on well-known favorites such as Away in the Manger, Up On the Housetop, and White Christmas. Interspersed with lively reels and jigs to original tunes and Irish melodies, the show is also filled with stories of their travels along with a healthy dose of humor. As seen on PBS, Switchback is energetic, soulful, and's a concert guaranteed to please.

Door prizes, raffles and baked goods will also be part of this shopping experience. A snack and lunch stand will be available. Proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society.
