An upbeat, musical journey of America's spirit and greatest songs of the 1960's and 70's. Led by former lead singer of the Christy Minstrels - you'll hear stories and music of John Denver, Pete Seeger, The Mamas and the Papas and more.

Switchback: Midwestern Christmas

Brian FitzGerald and Marty McCormack of the Irish-Americana duo Switchback return to the Monroe Arts Center, but this time with their exciting holiday performance "A Midwestern Christmas." Switchback's holiday concerts are always a crowd pleaser with lots of audience involvement and singing along with the band on well-known favorites such as Away in the Manger, Up On the Housetop, and White Christmas. Interspersed with lively reels and jigs to original tunes and Irish melodies, the show is also filled with stories of their travels along with a healthy dose of humor. As seen on PBS, Switchback is energetic, soulful, and versatile...it's a concert guaranteed to please.
