There is also a new addition added to the historic building for casual food and alcoholic beverages, which will be phased in over the first few weeks of opening. An August opening is planned. FGE has been certified as a Wisconsin Travel Green business, and the building has also been designated a state and national historic site being representative of buildings during the early settlement of Wisconsin. You can still see the horse rings imbedded on the south wall, as well as the unique recreated ceiling of reverse lathe and plaster. This ceiling was designed from an original ceiling remnant found onsite.
